Programs

Programs for 2 1/2 to 4 year olds

The emphasis at SPRP is on play and socialization. Our goal is to promote a positive self-image, self-confidence and , social and decision-making skills. Subtle learning is incorporated into everyday activities. SPRP and the Special Events Committee arrange field trips to support our programming and enhance your child’s school experience.  Children should have begun potty-training when classes begin in September; pull-ups are acceptable.

School Year and Holidays

Our school operates from September to the end of May. Parent-teacher interviews and class visits take place the first week of September (after Labour Day) each year and all classes begin the second week of September.

We follow the same holiday schedule as the Waterloo Region District School Board. This includes the Christmas holiday, Good Friday and March Break. We operate during Professional Activity (PA) days.
